Hi, I'm Mel, a senior brand and marketing creative based in Bay City, Michigan, with nearly 20 years of experience building campaigns, content, and digital experiences across social, print, video, and web. I specialize in turning complex ideas into clear, engaging visual stories that connect with audiences and support real-world goals.
I've led creative from concept through execution across multiple channels at once, balancing storytelling with strategy and consistency. I thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with marketing teams, leadership, and stakeholders to bring ideas to life in a way that feels both intentional and human.
I'm especially drawn to projects involving narrative, community, and connection, where design plays a meaningful role in how stories are told and experienced.
Interests + Hobbies
Outside of work, my interests strongly shape how I approach design. Photography sharpens my eye for composition and detail. Travel introduces me to new cultures and visual perspectives. Sports fuel my love for high-energy impactful visuals, and gaming has deepened my appreciation for immersive storytelling and user experience.
I'm a lifelong tech enthusiast who enjoys exploring new tools and workflows, and Adobe MAX remains a favorite source of inspiration each year. When I'm offline I'm usually out with my two Australian Shepherds.
